Open Office - Writer

Switching to linux also necessitates switching to an alternative office suiter, in this case OpenOffice.org's Writer. It gives me various bits of grief, so I'll be adding notes about those too. For example: I want section headings to be numbered, and to generate a table of contents from those headings. I also want footnote numbering in superscript
